Chicken Ranch Pasta Bake

Material

  • 8 ounces of penne paste
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of mixed seasoning / ranch sauce

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of mixed seasoning / ranch sauce
  • ½ Tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1 liter of heavy whipped cream
  • ½ cup of freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper

Topping:

  • 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 pieces of bacon, minced
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan of water, boil the penne paste until al dente, according to the package instructions. Drain.
  2. Season the pieces of chicken with the ingredients of the farm. Spray a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray.
  3. Cook the chicken in a skillet prepared on medium-high heat until it is not pink in the middle; around 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and onto a large plate. Tent with foil to keep warm. Wipe the pan carefully so you can cook the sauce in it.
  4. Add butter t0 the pan and melt over medium heat. After melting, add garlic and stir until fragrant; about 1 minute. Shake the seasoning and flour of the farm. Cook for 30 seconds while continuing to whisk. Beat gently in a heavy whipped cream. Continue cooking and stir for one minute or until the mixture begins to boil. Remove from the heat and stir Parmesan cheese until completely melted. Season the sauce with pepper.
  5. Add the dried pasta and cooked chicken to the sauce in the pan. Toss to join.
  6. Pour this mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan covered in oil. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and chopped bacon. Bake in a 375 degree F oven heated, open, for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and bubbled.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest / cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Serve with fresh parsley, if desired. Enjoy!
